Supporting and Keeping GPs

Supporting newly recruited physicians, as well as medical students and residents, to transition and integrate as smoothly as possible into your clinic(s), other medical facilities (e.g., hospital, nursing homes), and your community is key to keeping physicians in the community for the long-term. It is just as important to support the smooth transition of the family (spouse, children, parents).

Supporting existing physicians to stay in the community and optimizing their time practicing are vital to maintaining continuous, quality care to patients. Divisions of Family Practice are central to connecting physicians to one another and to the community at large.

  • Support all GPs (existing and new) to practice in the community
